Who we are. SafetyLine ("we", "us") is responsible for the personal information described here. You can contact us at info@safetyline.uk.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, company, property postcode and the content of your message. If you become a customer, we also hold the property details, access arrangements and certificates needed to deliver our services.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote (to take steps at your request before entering into a contract).
• To deliver the services you've asked for and keep your records (to perform our contract with you).
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation).

We don't sell your information or use it for marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

We share only what's needed with the engineers and assessors who carry out the work, and with service providers who help us run the business (such as our email and website hosting providers). They may only use it on our instructions.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries that don't lead to work for up to 12 months. Customer records and certificates are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal requirements, usually up to 6 years after our last work for you.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it, by emailing info@safetyline.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
